Tumbling but not heating is the thermal fuse or the heating element, and a thermal fuse almost never blows without a reason. That reason is nearly always poor airflow, so if you replace the fuse without clearing the vent, the new one just blows too.

When an LG dryer won't heat, it's usually the heating element or the thermistor, and the thermistor matters more than people think. It's a small sensor that tells the control board how hot the drum is. When it drifts off, you get a dryer that heats but doesn't dry all the way, or one that shuts off early with the clothes still damp. From the outside, neither one looks like a temperature sensor problem. Noise is the other common call. The drum rollers and idler assembly get loud well before they fail, so a rumble caught early means a cheap part, not a damaged drum. Condenser and heat-pump models break in a completely different way, and the model number tells us which kind we're coming out to fix before we get there.
